Experience

I am an experienced Clinical Psychologist who specialises in working with children, adolescents and young adults. I completed my doctoral training at the University of Bath and since then I have been working in child and adolescent mental health services.

Approach

I aim to work alongside the young person and their parent/s to ensure that therapy is a positive experience, delivered in a professional and supportive manner. The level of parental involvement will be discussed in the initial assessment session, but typically the younger the child, the more involved the parent is.

I work digitally so all my sessions are completed online.

Specialities

I deliver therapy for a range of difficulties including:

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
Generalised anxiety
Worry
Social anxiety
Phobias
Depression
Low self-esteem
Perfectionism

I have a Postgraduate Certificate in Supervision for Children and Young People's Improving Access to Psychological Treatments. I provide both individual and group supervision to CBT therapists and Clinical Psychologists.

Standards

I am passionate about providing high quality evidence based interventions approved by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) which is regulated by the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC).

I am accredited with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) which is the only regulatory body for Cognitve Behaviour Therapy (CBT) in the UK.
